Curtain Cleaning Johannesburg
Clean It Rite provides mobile curtain and drape cleaning across Johannesburg and greater Gauteng, working at your windows rather than taking your curtains away. Take-down and rehang are available, which makes high windows and heavy drapes far easier to deal with.
Curtains are priced from R250 per drape, with a R450 minimum booking fee. Free quotes are available — send us a photo of the window and we will confirm the price.

What our curtain cleaning covers
Curtains act like a filter for your whole room, so dust, pollen and cooking oils build up in the weave over time. Every job includes dust and allergen removal, stain treatment, odour removal, and optional take-down and rehang.
Sheers
Light, see-through panels cleaned gently so the weave stays soft and bright.
Heavy drapes
Thick, floor-length drapes with deep dust build-up in the folds and hems.
Blockout & blackout
Coated backing fabrics cleaned with low-moisture methods that protect the coating.
Lined curtains
Curtain and lining cleaned together so both layers come back fresh and even.
Velvet
Pile fabrics handled with care to keep the nap, texture and colour intact.
Linen
Natural linen cleaned without the high heat that causes shrinking.
Curtain types we clean
From fine sheers to lined velvet drapes — we match the cleaning method to the fabric instead of using one standard pass.
Sheers
Fine voile and sheer panels that collect dust quickly and lose their light, airy look.
Heavy Drapes
Dense, floor-length drapes where dust and cooking oils settle deep in the folds.
Blockout & Blackout
Coated-backed curtains cleaned so the light-blocking layer is not damaged.
Lined Curtains
Double-layer curtains cleaned as a pair, keeping both fabrics evenly fresh.
Velvet
Soft pile drapes where the nap direction and colour depth need protecting.
Linen
Natural linen curtains cleaned at a lower temperature to control shrinkage.
How our curtain cleaning works
Inspection & fibre test
We check the fabric, lining and backing, and test a small hidden area before cleaning.
Take-down
Curtains and hooks come down carefully, with each panel labelled so it goes back on the right window.
Pre-treatment & cleaning
Dust is lifted out, stains and odours are pre-treated, then the fabric is cleaned with the right method.
Controlled drying
Panels are dried in a controlled way to protect the shape and keep shrinkage to a minimum.
Rehang & final check
We rehang the curtains, check the pleats and finish with a walk-through of every window.
Curtain cleaning prices
Straightforward per-drape pricing, with the minimum booking fee shown upfront.
Prices are current for 2026. The final quote depends on fabric, size and condition, and we confirm it before any work starts. See the full price list for every service.
